Dr. Angela Harrington, Psy.D.

Dr. Harrington’s therapeutic style tends to be actively engaged, collaborative, strengths-based, and relatively unstructured, pulling from psychodynamic, relational, and social justice/feminist approaches while incorporating evidence-based techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), amongst others.
Dr. Harrington views her role as a psychologist as far more than simply a career choice; she views it as her life’s purpose and vows to treat the honor and privilege of your work together with the utmost respect and care.

I am a psychologist who specializes in treating a variety of mental health issues with a particular focus on multicultural factors that shape all of us. I am passionately committed to supporting my clients through their mental health journeys by allowing them to process their emotions and address and resolve their problems. I work collaboratively with individual clients to help them find their strengths and guide them by teaching them tools to manage their distress and improve their lives.
My approach to therapeutic interventions is geared toward clients' needs. I utilize an integrative approach to treatment, including interpersonal and relational therapies, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectic behavior therapy.
Individuals experience struggles throughout their lifetimes and need a helping hand in times of adversity. I encourage you to take a healing trip with me, and I commit to support you through your journey toward healing and growth.
I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, grief, interpersonal conflicts, life transitions, acculturation stress, anger management, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Lino is located in our new waiting area in Suite 111 where you can check in for your appointment, wait in a private area, and grab a coffee or snack.
Lino is a proud father of two amazing children and four fur babies, and he is bilingual with Spanish being his first language. Lino was a professional violinist for 17 years, a two-time International Martial Arts Champion, and has multiple college degrees. He is also an incredible chef and pastry chef--just ask to see some pictures of his cakes!
